For flexible remote communications, RACO offers Catalyst, the first integrated, interactive system for pump station data logging, alarm notification and status checks for water and wastewater treatment plants.
The Catalyst system can monitor up to 256 points at once for data and event logging, storing information on data samples, alarms, channel state changes and configuration changes on five megabytes of memory. Catalyst can communicate that information to up to 96 user destinations through phone, fax, e-mail, or pager, or send it to a central computer. With space for up to 45 minutes of voice messages, the system can easily send alarm notifications that detail location and status to any of the user destinations. For increased efficiency, the operator can set up channel groupings, assigning certain channels to different destination groups to target plant personnel responsible for that area.
Plant personnel also can call the Catalyst system for up-to-the-minute information. Status checks on level, temperature, flow, switches, anunciator panels, motors, pumps, and more help staff anticipate possible problems and allow them to keep the pump station running at peak efficiency.
Catalyst uses RACO’s Alarmware software, which allows for easy programming, since operators can access the system offsite from any computer or web-enabled device. Since Alarmware upgrades are available for download online, system updates are simple.
Visit the Catalyst product page to see brochures, sample reports and CAD drawings to learn more about the system and all of its options.
