Can I add a PLC protocol to a Verbatim so that I can communicate to a PLC?

Yes. You can add a Modbus RTU Master communication card to an existing Verbatim. This allows you to poll specific addresses or registers in a Modbus Slave unit. This includes many PLCs and other field devices such as remote I/O with a Modbus module. This option can be supplied to poll up to 32, 64 or 96 selected addresses.
