What are the additional benefits of upgrading my AlarmAgent to LTE?
The upgrade to LTE comes with a host of new features available to your AlarmAgent.
Increased speed and efficieny is part of any upgrade of service, and will of course be part of the transition to LTE.
Beyond that, we think the most improtant, and most impressive, component of the upgrade is the ability to access "real time" communication from your units. This makes SCADA/HMI display of your operational data possible.
You will also have access to over the air (OTA) firmware upgrades and enhanced mobile capabilities. Further, the units are moving to LTE, which stands for Long-Term Evolution. Although we cannot predict what the future will hold, we hope this means our providers intend to keep this network stable for the foreseeable future.
