      Procedure for copying a 96 channel unit configuration to a 56 channel unit

      I have a new 56 channel unit. How do I copy the configuration from an existing 96 channel unit to the new 56 channel unit?

      Since there is a channel and model number mismatch, the normal copy procedure will need to be modified. Here are the steps to the process:
      1. Start Alarmware.
      2. From the "Select RTU" dialog, click the "Add" button.
      3. Give the RTU a name, NEWRTU for this example.
      4. If the new unit is connected to a phone line, you can enter it now (or later).
      5. For model number, select "C10-1-020-1450 : Catalyst: 96 Channels".
      6. Click the "Set" button.
      7. From the "Select RTU" dialog, select the NEWRTU and click the "Work Offline" button.
      8. From the top menu items, select "Copy".
      9. Click on the "All*" checkbox and click on the "Copy" button.
      10. From the "Copy from RTU" dialog, select the unit with the configuration you want to copy and click on the "Select" button.
      11. Quit the Offline session.
      12. From the "Select RTU" dialog, select NEWRTU and click on "Edit" button.
      13. Change the model number to "C10-S-020-1450 : Catalyst: 56 Channels" and click on the "Set" button.
      14. Connect via phone or COM Port and Export configuration from Alarmware to the Catalyst.
      15. Export any speech messages.
      16. Verify the configuration.
